DAY 3
6 DEC 26
"Śubhayātrā" - in Sanskrit meaning happy journey - marks the close of our days together in Udaipur.
After two days of music, colour, celebration, and togetherness, we hope you leave with full hearts and memories that stay long after the journey home.
Take the morning slow, linger over breakfast, and check out at ease before beginning your onward travels.
Śubhayātrā
12:00 / Noon
Baraat
At the centre of the ceremony are the pheras - sacred vows taken around the agni (fire), witnessed by all those who matter most. This is the culmination of our two-day celebration - where everything leads, and where a new chapter quietly begins.
Traditional Indian formalwear. We kindly ask guests to avoid white, ivory, and red for the ceremony.
The evening begins with the baraat - a joyful, music-filled procession marking the groom’s arrival, and setting the tone for the celebrations that follow.
As the energy settles, the ceremony unfolds - rooted in tradition and meaning - where moments feel more intentional, and everything begins to come together.

Pheras
As the light begins to soften, we gather for "Vivaah" - the moment at the heart of it all.
3:00 pm
Vivaah
As the sun rises on a new day of celebration, we gather for the haldi ceremony - "Arishina" in Kannada refers to the rich saffron hue of haldi, and "Maati" in Gujurati refers to the grouding nature of this ritual.
While applying the turmeric paste is a timeless blessing for luck and protection, it’s also the ultimate excuse to let loose and cover the bride and groom in a golden mess.
As the heartfelt rituals wrap up, the real mischief begins. Expect the celebrations to slowly spill into the pool - because after haldi, sunshine, and a little chaos, the water becomes far too tempting to resist.
Bright, festive, and full of colour. Our only advice: perhaps avoid wearing anything you’d be heartbroken to see stained, or ending up wet.
DAY 2
5 DEC 26
As the sun sets on our first day, the celebrations come alive.
"Raaga Raas" - a royal evening of music, rhythm, and movement. Traditionally, the sangeet & garba is where friends and family come together in song and dance to mark the beginning of the wedding festivities.
Grab a cocktail, and enjoy an evening of vibrant performances, flowing cocktails, and a dance floor that only grows fuller as the night goes on.
Beneath the glowing lights of Udaipur - this is where sleep becomes optional.

Padharo Mhare Desh
Welcome & Mehendi
12:00 pm
“Padharo Mhare Desh,” a heartwarming Marwari phrase meaning “welcome to my land,” is our invitation to you as we gather in the magical region of Rajasthan - a land not short of magical realism in every corner.
This afternoon is about settling in, and immersing yourself in the art of mehendi - the intricate application of natural henna on the hands and feet, a tradition to bring luck, joy, and beauty. As the designs stain a deeper burgundy , they mirror the enduring strength of love, the warmth of your presence and the beginning of a new chapter.
Schedule
Relaxed festive wear, airport looks, or effortless Indo-Western styles are perfect for this laid back afternoon.
Please bring either an international passport or valid indian ID for check in process.

Travel
Getting to Udaipur will look slightly different depending on where you’re travelling from - so we’ve put together a simple guide below to help you plan your journey with ease.
Domestic
Udaipur is well connected to major cities across India, including Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, with both frequent flights and train options available.
We recommend arriving either the night before or on the morning of the 4th December, allowing time to settle in before the celebrations begin.
Upon Arrival
Our lovely wedding planning team, Meragi, will be on the ground to help arrange airport/train station transfers to the hotel.
The team will be in touch to coordinate your travel details and arrival transfers - so once you’re here, all that’s left to do is settle in and enjoy.
International
We recommend flying to get into Mumbai or Delhi the night before (3rd December 2026), followed by a short connecting flight to Udaipur the following morning (4th December 2026).
Suggested routes and timings based on your departure location can be shared closer to the date to help make the journey as seamless as possible.
The City of Lakes, Udaipur
Often called the City of Lakes, Udaipur is a place that feels almost cinematic - where palaces rise from the water, hills frame every horizon, and every sunset feels carefully staged.
Once the capital of the Mewar kingdom, the city carries a rich history of royalty, resilience, and grandeur - yet what you’ll experience today is something softer: calm waters, intricate architecture, and a slower, more romantic pace of life woven gently into the backdrop of centuries-old history.
Weather
December is one of the best times to be in Udaipur. Expect warm, pleasant days with plenty of sunshine, and cooler evenings once the sun sets.
What to expect:
-
Daytime: ~24–28°C - light, breathable outfits work best
-
Evenings: ~10–15°C - a light shawl or jacket is recommended
-
Rain: Highly unlikely
-
Overall : Dry, comfortable, and perfect for outdoor celebrations
Extending your stay
If time allows, we’d highly recommend extending your stay - either before or after the wedding.
Udaipur offers a gentle introduction to India for first-time visitors, and for those more familiar, a relaxing change of pace.
Beyond the city itself, Rajasthan opens into a wider landscape of forts, desert escapes, temples, lakes, and cultural experiences waiting to be explored at your own pace.
And should you wish to venture further beyond Udaipur or Rajasthan, India unfolds endlessly in every direction - from the ancient temples and heritage towns, to the Himalayan foothills and the tropical coastlines and peaceful backwaters. Wherever your journey takes you next, there is always more waiting to be discovered across Incredible !ndia.
